Mid-February Collage

Starting with a black background (acrylic paint) and some white stencil work, I added yellow and pink (orange?) accents.
These were fun to put together.

This card incorporates
painted sheet rock joint tape
(circle with holes) as well as other collage.
I'm finding after I seal the surfaces
with matte medium gel,
there is a glare off the sheen
which prevents clear photography
of my designs...

I've been using Golden Acrylic Glazing Liquid (Gloss) because I don't like the glare at all. This medium, even though it says Gloss, dries invisibly and I like the thinner texture. But then you have to use a few coats and wait a day between each.

This does seem counnter-intuitive, I thought using "gloss" gel medium would make for more glare. But every product is different. Thanks for the tip Cynthia :)

It's not a gel, just to note. It is a thin glazing liquid.
