It took me three sessions to
decide how I wanted
to finish these ATC's...

A new batch...

Scotties tissue boxes are very decorative 

and sometimes make good art backgrounds!

(There also used to be the cutest white

kitties on the bottom of the box...)

A Large Batch of Painted Envelopes

Another session with the Gelli Plate Printer, 

rubber stamping and some collage 

yielded quite a few decorated envelopes 

which are always useful.

with blue and green.  (With a touch of gold...)
Using junk mail as a base
makes me feel frugal :)

Things Are Looking Up!

Yesterday I began work on a large batch of Artists' Trading Coins to swap with some mail artists, and enjoyed it very much.  (Pictures soon...)  

Today the sun shone beautifully.  After an invigorating short bike ride into the wind, I grabbed my camera and took photo's of these lovely two-tone tulips.  













Then while hanging out the laundry to dry (Yes, I enjoy doing that, too!) I noticed this massive cloud bank building up to the west.









All in all it was a good day.  Yay!

Art Withdrawal

It has been weeks since I created any art.  I feel like a displaced person, not having access to my art space, and I do not like it, not one bit.  It's like a trial separation.  What if I forget how to create?  What if inspiration never returns?  I really hope I can get it back... and get back to it.  Soon?
