Evening Clouds...

As I was standing in the yard
gazing at the sky,
billowing white clouds took on
a pink and orange tinge,
painted by the setting sun.
So I ran inside to grab my camera.

Luna Moth Sighting

Usually these are not seen except around
large lights at night, or early in the morning.
This lovely large green moth was clinging
to a door frame in bright sunlight.

West Coast Mountains

Despite crazy rush hour traffic,
either waaaay too fast
or bumper-to-bumper idle-and-inch-forward,
I enjoyed the amazing landscape and
seeing different vegetation.
I especially loved the mountains
that looked like boulder piles
with sparse vegetation inbetween.
Some of them had rocks the
size of houses perched on top,
appearing ready to roll
downhill at any moment!
(I didn't get a picture of those.)
Rock and Roll!!!

There were lots of dead trees along the ridgelines:  4-year drought...

Some New ATC's

These were all cut from one piece
 of 8+1/2" x 11" card stock after
painting it with acrylic paints on a Gelli Plate.
Rubber stamped designs added some detail,
and finally, a few stick-on "gems"
gave a sparkle point.
These were really fun to make, once I got started.
