And More Artist's Trading Coins

Rubber Stamp Inks on Coated Paper Plate - by hhc

Today while using rubber stamp ink to stain coffee filters, I observed that the ink did not disperse although I tried spritzing it with alcohol. What a mess.  (Fortunately I had remembered to wear thin painters' gloves.) The best outcome was the coated paper plate underneath the filters.  So I cut it off the rim and punched out four Artist's Trading Coins and some smaller circles.  "Planet Inks #1, #2, #3, and #4."  The fun continues...

 These all were made from two pieces of 8+1/2" x 11" cardstock painted with 5 - 6 liquid acrylic paints, over patterned with paint on bubble wrap and a square of corrigated pressed ito black acrylic paint.

Artist's Trading Cards Inspiration

Recently I was watching a YouTube presentation about making backgrounds for ATC's and was fascinated by how simple the technique yet attractive the results turned out to be.  It really inspired me!

So yesterday I gave it a try, and have been collaging Artist's Trading Cards and Artist's Trading Coins made from the two sheets of background papers I painted.
