CROCUS: First Flowers Seen

A congregation of Crocus surround the old apple tree.  They glowed in the afternoon sunlight.  I could not resist taking these pictures:

Creating, Again

I had blue ink left over from a Drips & Splatters group art exchange

(see MailMeSomeArt.blogspot.com site)

and decided to use it on some square pieces of paper about 2" x 2":

Rubber stamps and collage added

Then I just had to finish up some ATC's (Artists Trading Cards):

Rubber stamps and collage over decorative tissue paper

Made with pieces cut from Scotties facial tissue box

I guess I'm a "serial artist", working in series...

Sorrow

Today I am grieving for our world...

.......................

I composed this song the day after 9-11-01

It seems as appropriate today as it did then...

........................

"The heart of the Father grieves today

So many of His children were blown away

...So much death, needless pain and fear

But we are not alone.

He is here..."

......................

God, help our world!!!

Some New Art to View

Three ATC's and two Post Cards...

Mini-Matchboxes- altered, decorated, delightful!!!

After two recent very fun and productive art sessions,

these are seven mini-matchboxes I decorated:

We hope to have a decorated mini-matchboxes group swap in the mail art group very soon.

Hearts Care

 Our hearts, thoughts and prayers

are with those who are in danger,

those who live in fear,

those who are under siege,

those who are losing everything

right now.

God help us all...

And More Art to Post

These five cards were made with spatter inks and collage for the recent Drips & Spatters group swap at MailMeSomeArt.

So Much Fun!!!
