Not too many people get raised

from the dead these days...

It's SO good to know

that this life here on Planet Earth

is not all there is

to look forward to...

A Terrible View

by hhc

This large card/art developed over time, a little here, a little there.  Several times I picked up a scrap or a clipping and considered it for this collage.  I had no overall design in mind.  I would walk away and come back to it days later, adding a bit here or there.  Yesterday it seemed to be finished.  I realized that it represented how I view the country and people of Ukraine:  broken down, destroyed, desolate, displaced, suffering.  There seem to be elements that allude to religion, agriculture, warfare, death and loss...  It is up to the viewer to interpret (or not).

ATC Watercolors Fun!!!

I had a serendipitous session in the art space recently.

These watercolor Artists' Trading Cards were SO fun to create!

Finally, some creative inspiration and energy!!!  Yay!

ART MASTERBOARD

I watched a YouTube presentation on how to create Art Masterboards, and this is one I put together with mostly collage, then cut up into individual pieces and finished them with rubber stamps, old postage stamps, etc.

CROCUS: First Flowers Seen

A congregation of Crocus surround the old apple tree.  They glowed in the afternoon sunlight.  I could not resist taking these pictures:

Creating, Again

I had blue ink left over from a Drips & Splatters group art exchange

(see MailMeSomeArt.blogspot.com site)

and decided to use it on some square pieces of paper about 2" x 2":

Rubber stamps and collage added

Then I just had to finish up some ATC's (Artists Trading Cards):

Rubber stamps and collage over decorative tissue paper

Made with pieces cut from Scotties facial tissue box

I guess I'm a "serial artist", working in series...
