DAY #15 OREO COOKIE CHALLENGE

Would you pair sweet potatoes
with chocolate and frosting?
What about with Spinach Artichoke Dip?

Here's an unlikely combo:

A sandwich made with an OREO cookie
between two slices of cooked sweet potato
(a sandwich in a sandwich!)

on a lovely Shenanco China bowl
out of Newcastle, PA
(Can you tell that I like diner china?)

with a side order of a sweet potato "taco"
filled with Spinach Artichoke Dip.

And they both were delicious!!!

DAY #14 OREO COOKIE CHALLENGE

I had a "grape idea."
Almond butter on top of an Oreo cookie
(and 1 toothpick for the little grape on top)
for holding things in place...

On  another Hull plate

DAY #13 OREO COOKIE CHALLENGE

I could call this food sculpture
"Dark Mountain Range"
thanks to a 90% cacao dark chocolate
Lindt Excellence Bar,
some almond butter, and sprinkles
(for trees.  Or painted telephone poles?).

DAY #12 OREO COOKIE CHALLENGE

There's a funny story behind this and-
I'm not going to tell it.
Anyway, this design started with
a York mint patty which
became a chocolate mint hashtag.
(Nice Hull plate, right?)

How can you go wrong mixing chocolate and mint?

A Few More Masks

Another sewing session yielded three more
reversible fabric masks with ties, three pleats
and lined with interfacing.

DAY #11 OREO COOKIE CHALLENGE

After purchasing a large bag of mixed
frozen fruit, I discovered some large
strawberries that sparked creativity.
So, here is one, sitting on a dab of
runny frosting.  Tasty!

(Glass beads not edible.)
