Today the highway was a white snowy path with ruts where the few cars dared to drive. But- along came a buggy, and I'm guessing the horse had better traction than the cars.

The horse probably does have better traction than a car, but I betcha there's no heat in tha buggy! And I bet that poor horse is cold and miserable.
But it sure is a gorgeous photo!
